starting my rig build
A little background, presently I have a vw westy, that I love ,,,,, but,,,,, its just too small for us (wife,dog, me) to do any extensive travel in. We are just too big for it, but I sure have it set up nice. Suby engine, propex furnace, awning, etc, etc, and I am way over using it. I fly fish , and every weekend in the summer I drive 300km, towing a 14' boat, motor, gear,chain saw etc, over some big mountain passes on the coquihalla highway. That poor thing!
Soooo, I decided to look for something a little bigger. I looked at sprinters, but,, not 4x4, and pricy, saw some stuff on Fuso fg's on expo portal and did a little research, I like what I saw so decided to go for it. After looking for a long time at used ones I finally phoned a dealer in Vancouver who had one with a dump body mounted. It was a 2007, pre emission crap truck that someone orderd but didnt buy. So after some wheelin and dealin I purchased it.
