Summer 2013 vacation was going to be a mixed bag of tricks, some lakes, backroads, geology, new friends, more backroads, notably we spent some time on the WABDR. that is Washington Backroad Developement Route, a route that is mostly forestry road that has six legs and extends from the Canadian border near Osoyoos BC to the Oregon border.
We left after work on Saterday with the destination near Osoyoos, we made good time and crossed the Nighthawk border and hit our first lake, Chopaka lake.
