sloquet one

After a nasty week, I left work early and Les and I headed out in search for some hot springs, the plan: drive up the West Harrison FSR to my usual beach camp spot for the night, then head for Sloquet hotsprings. I took Monday off too!

We left in a real downpour.

First view point of Harrison in the rain.

Just a bit of rain present.

This is where we woke!

Note these poles for later!

Before heading for Sloquet some fire wood is manufactured.

I just had to drive over this log on the way out, kind of a non event.

Okay, so those logs I told you to remember, yes, those are them down yonder!

Lost count of all the creek crossings along the way.

Some pathetic stragglers holding onto the few petals at the end of the summer.

And countless waterfalls.

This river emptying into Harrison lake,

with a noticeable confluence of the two contrasting water flows.
