Batt box 3

I know, this looks like the same picture, but its not, its yet again a test fit, did I mention it was cold and raining all the time, with some snow thrown in for good measure.




I fabbed these brackets up for the box support, these will be mounted onto the deck framework and will have some 5/8" ready rod pass through it then down to the base of the box through another bracket. ?? I know, I dont get it either.

The big piece of aluminum was strengthened with a 4"x4" , 1/4" thick angle and a 1/8" th piece of backing all welded in place.

The 4"x4" angle will run under the old box and will be bolted to it, the old box will be used as some weight support, but mostly to prevent forward or back movement.
