A leisurely wake up and walkabout before breaky took us to this incredible spot,, from far away.
When we got closer all the yahoo scat was every where, I am not sure what kind of mentality of human does this, all around this Silver Beach camp was like this, it makes one lose faith in humanity. The amount of garbage was incredible, plastics, paper, beer cans, broken beer bottles, ropes in all the trees, a million cheap lawn chairs every where, tents, tent poles, shoes, sandals, socks , air mattresses. air pumps, plastic water jugs, empty propane canisters, car parts, knives, BBQ racks, buckets, fire pits ten feet apart, you get the idea, so what is up with that, drive out into the backwoods with lots of stuff, party, make a mess then leave it all there, including your tent, chairs and all??? Makes me sick, we cleaned up around our area, and collected several garbage bags of empties, and I collected twenty two empty propane canisters just around us for proper disposal. The term " if you truck it in ,truck it out" should be tatooed on these idiots foreheads.
Anyway , rant over for now, again this area was a log sort, and a site where the loggers put log booms together for towing to the coast.
