The plan is to go to Rocky Mountain House, camp somewhere , then drive into Banff NP, drive up the Glacier parkway (some say the most scenic drive in the world) to Jasper and camp around there, then head for home the next day.
Top pic is one of many abandoned farm houses all over the praries, I think what happens is farms get bought out by bigger farm and the owners of the bigger farms dont need the little houses any more. These are every where. Lower pic is mako drinking from Red Deer River, same river that runs thru Drumheller, and same landscape.
I stayed in a camp ground at night , got up pretty early to get onto the Parkway, unfortunately due to the fires in BC visibility was crap.
I did see, deer, the biggest black bear I have ever seen, the first wolverine I have ever seen, I am pretty sure it was a wolverene, mountain sheep, and lots of two legged animals with cameras.
