I raised the top, got some stuff out of the way so I could move around in the camper, then started to work on the make shift awning. I had no way of reaching the top to secure the tarp, no-one had a ladder, I didnt know what to do, then I came to my senses, lowered the top, then easily clambered up and secured the tarp to the pole I put up there for that purpose. Then, up with the top again.
Here's my view out the window.
I brought Mako's bed because now I have the space to bring it, doesnt she look comfy. I am not sure if she likes the camper yet, but during our bad weather up there, she was anxious to get inside.
Here is my temporary bed. Worked out good.
