Made it!
And just in time for happy hour!
we had a great time with Bethany and Steve as usual, bike rides, dinners, BBQ's, etc.
Stayed for three nights and dragged ourselves away heading west for the coast, along the coastal drive we stopped for road work and I jumped out of the truck for a stretch and heard some barking, walked over to the edge of the cliff and saw some sea lions sun tanning.
Another rec site, these throw us off big time, this one was beachfront and more expensive than a state park? Another fire here and long walk on the beach, we hadn't seen a beach since leaving Rocky Point and and it was nice to be here, especially after having spent five months on a beach!
Onwards north and spotted these elk on the beach from a lookout.
Aviation museum.
Stopped in at Tillimuck cheese factory for cheese and an ice cream,
and then crossed into Washington State, we are nearing home........
Our last night away at Cape Disappointment State Park which was a really nice park, reminded us of Neys Provincial Park on Lake Superior.
Our final dinner was bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with havarti, you know, a diet food!

with the sun going down on our fantastic trip!
