Back into the US
We finally pulled ourselves away from the beach to head back into the US, we had no issues with the border crossing but did go through many checkpoints on US soil including one where the truck was x-rayed, we did not go far and stayed in Organ Pipe National Monument for the night also buying an annual parks pass for $80 which payed for itself in with all the parks visited later.
Cacti were all in full bloom.
From Organ Pipe we headed north and found an arroyo to boondock in for the night somewhere near Pheonix.
Making it to Sedona where we stayed three nights and did some touristy stuff from there,
hiking to a natural bridge.
Blooming cacti.
Sedona is very picturesque
We also did a time share sort of thing on our arrival in Sedona and recieved three nights stay in a resort where we had use of free laundry, hot tubs and internet... very posh!
Cave dwellings in the background
Nice view for the cave dwellers, here we found many shards from pottery all over the ground from the natives.
With many tight spots to explore this was a cool spot.
And a large cave dwelling, Montezuma's Castle.
V-V ranch petroglyphs.
I great time was had in Sedona and we needed to make some headway for the Overland Expo.
