Our next stop from Mazatlan was not far away, Semena Santa was fast approaching and we were looking for a spot to hole up and wait it out as all the beaches get over crowded with vacationers, Bill and Val had recommended a little resort owned by a real nice couple who were not accepting tenters and booked only families into their hotel rooms so we asked if we could stay and they set us up in a quiet little corner all to ourselves.
We stayed ten days!
The beach is beautiful here with miles of walking to be done, nice sunsets too!
Note the fence that Noe and a few other small resort and surf hotels put up across the beach, that was to stop the hundreds of ATV's from blasting around out front among the kids playing on the beach, that worked real well and kept our beach quiet. The Mexicans have no shortage of cash to spend on ATV's, fancy four seat Razors and all other motorized beasts to buzz the beaches! We found it an ugly part of the whole Semena Santa thing other than all the garbage they leave everywhere..........just aweful! We started calling it Semena Garbage!
Noe makes his own tequila that was ver good and we partook!
We made a new friend there who had decided that the gringos needed to be fed seafood so he shared and showed us how he makes all his seafood, here we are making shrimp ceviche. Bennie and his son Oliver.
Beach and surf break, the surf was pretty good here, sometimes the surf dudes stayed off the big ass waves!
On the other side of the beach about two kilometers north was where there was a large beach camp area, this was a few days after the official weeks holiday but there were still hundreds on the beach.
One of Noe's pets along his fence.
After our ten days we were ready to hit the road, we packed up and went to Las Glorias to Mr Moro Rv and hotel, that sucked so we left the next day for Huatabampo.
