exciting continuation of batteries

I was talking to my brother inlaw, and he was saying that he was really enjoying the battery talk and was hoping for more , so here it is; just to finish it off I made a little aluminum protection piece to keep the battery isolator from getting damaged. Ooooh

And made a door for the space above the box for a new storage area. Aaaah,, I know , its so exciting isnt it? What was that? you want more battery stuff?? Well not right now, maybe later, most people arent as interested in it as Rod is.
So for some thing not battery related, I installed the Cassette toilet into the camper, some picky work was needed because the whole thing is designed for no more than a two inch thick wall, and mine are three inches, so it took a while to fit, the top little door is for water fill in, and the bottom is where the cassette sits (not there in the bottom picture)
Ill get a picture of the actual toilet next time because its as exciting as the batteries.
For now I am just re- wiring the interior for lights and stuff and will start putting the temporary interior back in for our upcoming trip to Death Valley and Vegas. So maybe a trip report instead of all this exciting and thought provoking stuff.

  1. Getting a bit self-concious about tech-talk Yves?
Don't worry, I find all the technical stuff interesting too ;-)

So are you doing your own welding now I guess? Aluminum to I guess? Impressive.
