Les and I managed to get away to Tunkwa for the long weekend, We left home around 4;30, and got there during daylight, the weather upon arrival was great, a beautiful evening, but for the whole weekend wasnt the best, we did manage to get some fishing, hiking in but didnt use our bikes. We saw some wildlife, on the way up we saw several deer, and just at the turn off for Logan lake and the coquihalla we saw a moose, the osprey were fishing hard, and we saw these otters, last weekend Ab saw four of them, but this time only two, they got within three feet of Mako and snorted a bit then left.
The truck is very comfortable, we are both happy in it, warm and cozy, with some ice cream in the freezer in case it gets hot.
The fishing was slow until I put on some ugly hooks that everyone laughed at until we started to catch them, this one Les caught.
very relaxing and with the fire ban off we had some great fires.
