Okay, here is the hole that you were all looking forward to, isnt it exciting?? Note the thickness of the wall, and the honeycomb structure. Also the two lay ups, these walls are bonded together to form the 3" thick wall, and this can be easily seen. You may also note that I did not cut into the aluminum corner, due to uncertainty of the strength of the wall after the door was cut. I was concerned that when I lift the unit it may flex at that week point, dont forget that there is no frame, the walls are the structural strength, and this side has a big piece removed. Also the hole for the door will be extended inside to form a well so that the steps will be internal. The floor will be cut out 24" from the wall and two steps down before bending a bit to get out. The door is 5' tall. Again one of those sacrificing items when having a rising top. The good, the bad the ugly.
